Clifford Eugene Brosie, 75 of Lewisville, passed away October 6, 2008 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 1, 1933, in Beaver Falls, PA, to Paul W. Brosie and Loretta L. Waxler Brosie. He attended schools in Cosochton, OH and graduated from High School there.
He played high school football and basketball. On May 6, 1955, he married Leah DeRoche, in Elko NV. He worked for the State of Idaho for 30 years and for H & K Construction, as a heavy equipment operator.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Clifford enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Leah DeRoche Brosie, of Lewisville, sons; Clifford L. “Pete” (Doug) Brosie, of Salt Lake City, UT. Michael E. (Sheila) Brosie, of Leander, TX, brothers; Eddie L. Brosie, of Newark, OH, Don Brown of Lexington KY, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Laura Sneddon, and a brother, Paul W. Brosie.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, with Bishop Mike Brosie, conducting. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
