Clifford Elmer Day, 61, of Roberts, Idaho died Monday, August 23, 2004 at his home in Roberts after a long fight with cancer.
Clifford was born August 31, 1942 in Greeley, Colorado the son of Clifford Barton Day and Dorothy Toots Christensen Day. He attended schools in Brush, Colorado and High School in Rigby, Idaho. He was a member of the Army National Guard 116th Engineer Battalion in Rigby from 1962 to 1968.
He married Marjorie Wilson on May 25, 1964 in Menan, Idaho. He worked on the Snake River Farms in Roberts for eighteen years before working at the I.N.E.L. as a janitor. He also helped farm at Deer Parks in Menan and for Skaar’s and retired from Idaho Fresh Pak in Lewisville.
Clifford loved fishing.
Clifford is survived by his wife Marjorie Day of Roberts, Idaho. Two daughters, Sally Ann Day and Vicky Leeann Day both of Roberts, Idaho. A son, Arlen Lee (Tina) Day of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Two sisters, Gladys Gneiting of Roberts, Idaho and Carol (Ron) Walls of Salt Lake City, Utah. Three brothers, Walter (Marene) Day of Riverton, Wyoming, Alvie (Patty) Day of Roberts, Idaho, Charles (Betty) Day of Menan, Idaho and Bobby (Collette) Day of Salt Lake City, Utah. Four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2004 in the Market Lake Cemetery in Roberts, Idaho at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home.
