Clinton Douglas Nebeker, 71, of Rigby, passed away at Heritage Assisted Living in American Fork, Utah, Thursday, September 10, 2015
Doug was born June 10, 1944 in Rigby, Idaho a son to Alvin Edwin and Rebecca Bebee Rosezelle Nebeker. He grew up in Rigby attending Rigby Schools. During the Vietnam War he joined the Navy and served on the USS Intrepid. After being released from the Navy he served in the Army National Guard.
In January of 1965 he married Velma Faye Stacey in Rigby. They were later divorced. He worked as a welder for General Electric in Wyoming for many years. He enjoyed gardening, nature and fishing.
He is survived by four daughters: Velma Rosezelle Nebeker of Idaho Falls, Kristinea Michelle (Scott) Baker of Chubbuck, Delores Faye Dodds of Idaho Falls, and Shirley Kaye Jones of Shelton, Washington; five brothers: “Jack” Alvin (Margaret) Nebeker of Anaconda, Montana, “Joe” Alton (Diane) Nebeker of Idaho Falls, Andrew (Linda) Nebeker of Kansas, John (Cindy) Nebeker of Orem, Utah, Vaughn Nebeker of Idaho Falls; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters: Billie, Afton, Donna, Josephine and Shirley.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 19th 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Saturday for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
