Colleen Waddoups, 63, of Rigby, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born February 11, 1950, to LeRoy Smith and Olive Westover Smith. She was raised and attended schools in Riverside, and graduated from Snake River High School. She then attended Technical College to become a secretary. On July 14, 1983, she married Clarence Eldon Waddoups in Riverside, Idaho. They made their home in Rigby.
Colleen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she enjoyed movies, dogs, camping, board and card games. She also collected cow figurines.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Eldon Waddoups, of Rigby, sons, Christopher (Laurie) Bromley, of Mountain Home, Idaho, Jerry (Cindy) Bromley, of Idaho Falls, sisters, Marilyn Bates, of Twin Falls, Fern (Grant) Reid, of Rexburg, Myrna Smith, of Riverside, Brenda Meyers, of Idaho Falls, Glenda (Steve) Howe, of Idaho Falls, and 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Andy, and a brother, DelRoy Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Sutton Cemetery.
