Conley D. Clayton

Conley D. Clayton, 76, of Rigby, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011. He was born October 5, 1934, in Longrun, Missouri to Ralph Haskins and Lizzie Clayton. He was raised and attended schools in Longrun, Missouri. On May 18, 1954, he married Juanita Arlene Walters in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union they added three children. He worked in the potato industry and farmed and ranched in the Southeast Idaho area throughout his life. Conley was a member of the Baptist church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and horses and working in his yard. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Clayton, of Rigby, daughter, Ellen Clayton, of Rigby, sons, Dale (Suzette) Clayton, of Rigby, and Cliff (Shana) Clayton, of Anchorage, Alaska, grandchildren, Danielle (Jeremy) Timm, of Rigby, Justin( Shaleea) Clayton, of Rigby, Jesyka Clayton, of Anchorage, Alaska and two great –grandchildren Dylynn and Emilee Timm, of Rigby. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2011, at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, arrangements are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
