Connie Rae Stibal, 69 of Roberts, Idaho went home to our Heavenly Father on May, 20th 2016 to be with her beloved husband Jimmy, a love so strong that they needed to be united once again. Connie was born February 8, 1947 in Rigby, Idaho to George Elwin Smith and Ida Viola Winder Smith. She was raised and attended schools in Menan and Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School. On February 15, 1963, she married Jimmy Carroll Stibal in Idaho Falls. They were blessed with 2 children. Connie worked with her husband as a secretary for their business; Stibal & Sons Hay Hauling. She also worked in the Idaho Falls Walmart as manager of the ladies department. Connie enjoyed gardening, keeping her yard beautiful, crafts, painting, camping, fishing, and sewing, she was a very talented woman, if she didn't know how to do it she would figure it out. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Elva Stibal of Bloomington, Idaho, son, James Troy Stibal, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, sister, Janice Clara Smith, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, brothers, Jay Luther Smith of Burley, Idaho, Dennis Eugene Smith of Idaho Falls, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, Carroll Stibal, her parents, George and Ida Smith, sisters, Bonnie Kay Smith, Mary Lee Smith, Emma Jean Smith, brothers, George Kay Smith, Teddy Leland Smith and a grandson, Evan Caroll Berrett. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby.
