Connie Wilkins, 98, of Idaho Falls died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born October 11, 1910, in Sugar City, to Jesse William Freeman and Annie Rebecca Lawman Freeman. She attended schools in the Rexburg area and as a youth, spent her summers in the Clementsville area. She married Glen Crowther September 6, 1930 in Driggs. They later divorced. On January 12, 1960, she married Leslie A. Wilkins in American Falls, Idaho. Connie was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Idaho Falls, and she worked as a potato inspector for the State of Idaho and managed the Frock Shop in Rigby for several years. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen June (Rich) Birch from Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Marilyn Fae Holwell, of Provo, UT, 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie A. Wilkins and a grandson Jeffery Lyn Hobbs. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
