Coral Blanch Johnson, 77, of Idaho Falls, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at home in Idaho Falls.
Coral was born in Elmo, Utah a daughter to Archie Thomas Guymon and Ellen Blanch Nelson Guymon. She attended schools in Utah and Idaho and graduated at Madison High School. She married Lee Earnest Hill in August of 1948, together they had six children: Earnest K. (Kathy) Hill of Noblesville, Indiana, Charlette (Merritt) Johnson of Othello, Washington, Charlene (Randy) Johnson of Lewisville, Rodney L. (Linda) Hill of Grand Junction, Colorado, Jerry (Pam) Hill of North Glenn, Colorado, Brian (Amy) Hill of Thornton, Colorado. After Lee’s death in 1973, she married William Claude Johnson. They had one son, Troy Johnson of Idaho Falls. She was a member of the Woodruff 1st Ward of The LDS Church in Idaho Falls. Her hobbies included camping, fishing and outdoor events. She crocheted blankets for each of her children and many of her grandchildren. She was an avid watcher of the home shopping networks. In life Coral was a housekeeper and motel maid. After retirement she worked with Bush Elementary School with the Foster Grandparents program.
She leaves behind her children, 23 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. Also one sister, Delaine Anderson, Two brothers: Nelson (Marlene) Guymon and Marvin (Brenda) Guymon. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister (Elva), her husband Lee and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends Monday April 9, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
