Cory James Hernandez

It is with a deep heart that we announce Cory James Hernandez, Age 45 of Lewisville, Idaho passed away August 4th, 2024 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Cory was born July 22, 1979, in Rexburg, Idaho to Fausto Hernandez and Yolanda Silvas. He grew up and lived out his life in Lewisville, Idaho. Cory worked for Brett Jensen Farms driving his semi truck. He spent his off time motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting, and being with friends and family. Cory is survived by his children Jasman, Isaiah, and Azlynn Hernandez of Rigby, Idaho Kingston Hernandez of Salmon, Idaho. Parents Fausto and Yolanda Hernandez of Lewisville, Idaho. Siblings Silvia Burns of Idaho Falls, Idaho Mary (Robert) Castillo of Nebraska, Hela (Bob) Murdock of Idaho Falls, Idaho Daniel (Jennifer) of Saint Anthony, Idaho Adam Hernandez of Lewisville, Idaho. Cory was preceded in death by his grandparents Gilbert (Amanda) Silvas and Heliodoro (Maurila) Hernandez. Cousin Joe Silvas of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Brother Cory Danielson of Lewisville, Idaho. A memorial will be held for family and friends on Thursday August 15th, 2024 from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Eckersell’s Funeral Home 101 W Main St Rigby, Idaho 83442. There will be a memorial Motorcycle Ride after the service hosted by Alex Hernandez from Eckersell’s Funeral Home around town and over to the Hernandez Residence in Lewisville, Idaho.
