Cosme Lemus Avila

Cosme Lemus Avila, age 51, of Terreton, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at his home in Terreton. He was born September 27, 1961 in Mexico, a son to Jose Guadalupe Lemus and Isabel Avila. He worked throughout his life as a farm laborer and enjoyed music, work, action movies, spending time with his family and picnics with family and friends in the park. He is survived by his significant other Maria de Jesus Pimente, 6 daughters; Sabina Lemus Martinez, Maria del Carmen Lemus both of California, Maria Isabel Lemus, Maria Azucena Lemus, Blanca Lemus and Raquel Lemus all of Terreton, 6 sons; Jose Guadalupe Lemus, Edgar Lemus and Miguel Angel Lemus all of California, Efrain Lemus, Eugenio Lemus and Jose Lemus all of Terreton, his mother Isabel Avila of Mexico, a sister Josefina Lemus of Mexico, 6 brothers: Susano Lemus of Rexburg, Margarito Lemus of Terreton, Jaime Lemus and Marcos Lemus both of California, Rigoberto Lemus of Idaho Falls, and Feliciano Lemus of Mexico, 5 grandchildren all of California. He was preceded in death by his father Jose Guadalupe Lemus, a brother Eliseo Lemus and his grandparents. Services will be held at the Terreton Catholic Church, Monday April 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the West Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
