Our beloved Courtney Anne Cramer, cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, unexpectedly returned to her heavenly home following a tragic car accident on August 19, 2026.
Born on August 23, 1995, in American Fork, Utah, Courtney grew up in Lehi and St. George, Utah. She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Roseville, California, Spanish-speaking Mission. That experience changed her life. She wrote, “I am grateful that I was called as a missionary, that although Heavenly Father could do this work in many more miraculous ways, instead, He mercifully allowed me to be here.”
Courtney graduated with honors from Desert Hills High School, earned her bachelor's degree from BYU-Idaho, and received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Studies from West Texas A & M. She was a licensed marriage and family therapist.
Her greatest joy was the family she lovingly created with her husband, Kyle Cramer. They were sealed in the St. George Temple on October 7, 2016. She wrote, “Kyle is the love of my life. He is kind, faithful, and never doubts that the Lord is working in our lives. He is teaching our children what an amazing husband and father looks like. Courtney and Kyle have four precious children: Riley (8), Addison (6), Carter (4), and Elsie (22 months old).
She devoted her life wholeheartedly to her family—spending hours reading stories, playing, teaching about the Savior, and snuggling together. She wrote, “I have found myself in motherhood; it has given me purpose and has given me wings.” She believed that “Motherhood is a divine calling,” and said, “Because of the Savior, I will have these babies forever; I can never thank Him enough for that.”
She had a gift for bringing people into her life and loving them unconditionally. This love extended into her work as a marriage and family therapist. She changed lives with her gentle, compassionate, unassuming nature. She was selfless, anticipating others' needs and finding great joy in serving them.
She knew what truly mattered most and focused on her faith and family, saying, “Because of Jesus Christ, I am never alone. Because of Him, all that is unfair in life will be made right. Because of Him, the people that mean the most to me can be mine forever.”
Our family shares Courtney’s firm belief in our Savior and His plan for us. We look forward in faith to a joyful reunion with her.
She is survived by her husband, Kyle; their children, Riley, Addison, Carter, and Elsie, Rigby, Idaho; her parents, Carter and Lori Cluff, St. George, Utah; her siblings, Jackson (Nikole) Cluff, Greensboro, North Carolina; Bowen (Chloe) Cluff, West Haven, Utah; Cooper Cluff; and Gwen Cluff, both of St. George, Utah; her parents-in-law, Vince and Debbie Cramer, of Rigby, Idaho, her sisters-in-law, Kristen (Clint) Milne, Rigby, Idaho, and Stephanie (Bobby) Bailey, Iona, Idaho; and her brother-in-law, Jared (Sammy) Cramer of Rigby, Idaho.
A funeral will be held in Courtney’s honor on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in the Holbrook Stake Center (196 North 4000 East, Rigby, ID, 83442) at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. The interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
