Cynthia “Cindy” Kay McDermott; age 42 of Rigby, Idaho died Saturday, July 6, 2002 at her home in Rigby. Cindy was born October 4, 1959 at Idaho Falls, Idaho the daughter of Lee Blaine Boyle and Lola Carol Dalley Boyle. She attended schools in Idaho Fall and Rexburg, Idaho and graduated from Madison High School in 1977. She earned her Registered Nurses Degree in 1980 from Ricks College. She married Casey L. McDermott on May 2, 1980 at the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in Idaho Falls, Idaho. As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she has served as a primary president, a primary teacher, a young women’s leader and was currently the Second Counselor in the 11th Ward Primary Presidency. She was a very Christ like daughter of her Father in Heaven and loved her husband and family very much. She is survived by: Her husband Casey L. McDermott of Rigby, Idaho. Her daughter Jessica Colleen McDermott of Rigby, Idaho. Four sons; Lucas Lee McDermott currently serving as a missionary to the California, Riverside LDS Mission. Justin Casey McDermott of Rigby, Idaho. Brian Casey McDermott of Rigby, Idaho. Joshua Lew McDermott of Rigby, Idaho. Her parents Lee and Lola Boyle of Rexburg, Idaho. Four sisters: Tammy (John) Roring of Tremonton, Idaho. Anita Boyle of Rexburg, Idaho. Debra Ann Boyle of Nampa, Idaho. Kristy Ann (Byron) Hemstreet of Rexburg, Idaho. Four brothers: Norman (Debra) of Falls Church, Virginia. Eric Boyle of Rexburg, Idaho. Douglas Boyle of Lewiston, Idaho. Ryan Boyle of Logan, Utah. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rigby LDS 11th Ward Chapel. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2002 in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W. Main, Rigby, Idaho) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in the Rigby 11th Ward LDS Chapel (401 West 1st South, Rigby) from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery in Rigby, Idaho.
