Dakota Michael Perkins

Dakota Michael Perkins, age 11 of Rigby, died Thursday, March 20, 2008. He was born September 9, 1996 at Blackfoot, a son of Mitchell Franklin Perkins and Karla Adele Pugmire Perkins. He was raised in Rigby and attended school at Jefferson Elementary. Dakota was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed animals, rodeos, hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents, Mitch and Karla Perkins of Rigby, two brothers, Dillon Perkins and Derk Perkins, both of Rigby, grandparents, Frank and Joyce Perkins of Albany, Oregon, John and Lisa Pugmire of Blackfoot, and Donna Reed of Monteview. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday evening, and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Contributions may be made to a memorial fund in Dakota’s name at any Bank of Commerce.
