Dale Henry Hamilton

Dale Henry Hamilton, 70, of Rigby, died Monday, January 03, 2011. Dale was born November 23, 1940, in Lorenzo, to Dell H. Hamilton and Belva Drake Hamilton. He was raised and attended schools in Rigby graduating from Rigby High School. On July 23, 1983, he married Wenette Archibald in Elko, Nevada. Together they had 4 children. Dale worked as a brick and stone mason in California, Nevada, Wyoming and Oregon. During the last 12 years he worked for Alpine Masonry in Sun Valley. During his retirement he watched his grandchildren, helping them with homework after school and he took care of the house while his wife worked. He enjoyed helping family on home building projects; he raised his own beef and kept the drive-ways clean in the winter. He is survived by his wife, Wenett A. Hamilton, a daughter, Jenifer R. Andersen, sons, Clint Hamilton, Cody Hamilton, Todd Hamilton, sisters, Connie, Robbins, Lola Hall, brothers, Ray Hamilton, Rex Hamilton, Shane Hamilton, Gary Hamilton, and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents a sister, Barbara Hamilton, and a brother, Fred Hamilton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, with Bishop Gary Sears, conducting. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
