Dale Luvern Hustrulid, age 85, of Nipomo, California, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at his residence in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Dale was born on June 11, 1940, in Centerville, South Dakota, to Ralph Garrett Hustrulid and Delores Fern Anderson. He was raised with strong values of faith, hard work, and service that remained with him throughout his life.
He attended Cal Poly, Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo County, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy, stationed in Hawaii.
He worked for PG&E as a Project Manager and had a strong work ethic.
A Christian, Dale was also a proud member of the 200 lb. Tuna Club. He enjoyed fishing, tennis, attending spin cycling classes, and was a talented handyman, always willing to help others.
Dale is survived by his children: Cheryl (Zoltan) Ledbetter, of Bend, Oregon, Dale Luvern Jr. (Alaina) Hustrulid of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jerry (Cindy) Hustrulid of Silverton, Oregon. He is also survived by his brother Ronnie (Sue) Hustrulid, of Georgia; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donnie and Leroy Hustrulid.
Dale will be remembered for his faith, generosity, steady presence, and the deep love he had for his family.
