Dale Allen Lee died on February 2, 2009, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, due to complications from a stroke. He was born on June 9, 1932, to Roy Allen Lee and Elvada Landon Lee. He attended school in Shelley, Idaho, and was later drafted into the Army during the Korean War on February 6, 1953, and honorably discharged February 5, 1955.
He married Jeana Comfort Schofield on November 5, 1951. While in the Army he worked as a Pole Lineman and then later learned to be a mechanic. He worked for Kite Nash and Sayer Brothers. He then worked for the Jefferson County School District #251 as a school bus mechanic for 24 years.
Dad enjoyed camping, picnics, woodworking, boating, swimming, and dancing. He loved to support his grandchildren in their sporting events. He has 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Our dad was very gentle, kind and loving to all those he knew. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Jeana Comfort Lee. Daughters Ronda Ruth (Terrel Charles) Bartlett, Sherlene Kay (Thomas) Valiquette, Sherry Ann (Clay) Schaat, Tamera Marie (Brant) Kerbs, and Michelle Anna (Brian) Manwaring. His brothers Vaughn L. Lee and Kim Lamont Lee. Sisters Linda Ann Lee and Gloria Jean Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Allen Lee and Elvada Landon Lee.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. The family will visit with friends prior to the services from 11:30 to 12:50 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
