David Ronald Killmeyer

David Ronald Killmeyer, age 71, of Rigby, died at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Wednesday, January 09, 2008. David was born February 28, 1936 at Pittsburg, Pennsylvania a son of Albert Herman and Carol Ann Gobrish Killmeyer. He grew up and attended schools in Pittsburgh, Penn. Graduating from Schenley High School in Pittsburgh. David married Mary Nancy Kroeger April 21, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and Viet Nam as a weapons specialist. He retired from the Air Force in 1972. He also served with the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He lived in Citrus Heights, California for 34 years and in 2006 moved to the Rigby area. He enjoyed fishing, building models, watching John Wayne Movies, and the Reno Air Races. Survivors include: a daughter Shelly (John) Dyer of Lewisville, a son Ron (Cathy) Killmeyer of Rigby, a brother Donald (Rosemary) Killmeyer of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Private family services will be held at a later date.
