Dawn Woods, age 55, of Roberts died Friday, April 3, 2009 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Dawn was born March 19, 1954 at Idaho Falls a daughter to Richard Charles “Dick” Woods and Della Connell Woods. She attended Roberts Elementary and Jr. High graduating from Rigby High School in 1972. She then attended Ricks College, Eastern Idaho Technical College, University of Idaho and Idaho State University. Dawn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission in Sacramento, California and served in the Young Women’s organization and as camp director, instructor in the Relief Society and Sunday School, and as the Ward and Stake Librarian. Dawn was currently serving as the Roberts Fire Marshall. She worked as a Radiation Safety Instructor for the I.N.L and did contract work at various nuclear facilities around the United States. Dawn’s family was her treasure and she adored her fifteen nieces and nephews and fourteen great nieces and nephews and was always excited to hear when another one was on the way. Survivors include: her mother Della Woods of Roberts, sisters: Debra W. Clapp of Ammon, Derra W. (Stephen) Ball of Roberts, Danna W. Hebdon of Idaho Falls and Drue W. (Kevin) Beebe of Richland, Washington, brother Richard C. Woods of Kennewick, Washington. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Charles “Dick” Woods. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. April 9, 2009 at Roberts 2nd Ward L.D.S. Chapel with Bishop Tim Allen officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday prior to the service from 11:30 – 12:45 p.m. both at the church. Interment will be in the Market Lake Cemetery.
