Deanne Marquez

Deanne Marquez, age 57 of Rexburg died at Temple View Transitional Care Center, August 22, 2024 after a long battle with small cell carcinoma lung cancer.

Deanne was born April 1, 1967 in Idaho Falls, Idaho daughter of Norlan Edward Herndon and Rebecca Brockman. She had three children and three grandchildren who she loved more than anything! She worked for the USPS for over 20 years. On her vacation days she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, and showing them her favorite places from her childhood. In 2023 Deanne was diagnosed with lung cancer causing her to have multiple hospital stays which led her to be admitted to Temple View Transitional Care where she spent 8 months. She enjoyed everyone there and we can't thank them enough for all the amazing care they gave her and all of the kindness they shared through everything.

She is survived by her Daughter: Britnee (Chance) Gould of Rexburg; Sons: Braydon (Casey) Herndon of Rexburg, Mateo Marquez of Rexburg; Grandchildren: Brek, Zaylee, and Holland; Sisters: Teri (Valente) Perez of Rexburg, Michelle Day of Idaho Falls; Brothers: Brian Herndon of Rathdrum, Craig Herndon of Meridian.

She was preceded in death by one sister; Esther, her parents, grandparents, aunts, a brother in-law, and sister in-law.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, and the family will visit with friends from 10:00am to 10:45am Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Lyman 1st Ward, 1952 W 6000 S, Rexburg, ID 83440
