Debra Jo Holmberg

Debra Jo Holmberg, 62, of Rigby passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 03, 2018.

Debra was born September 21, 1955, in Rigby, Idaho a daughter of Bert Arthur Carpenter and Loretta Janett Cramer Carpenter. Debra was raised in Rigby and attended school there.  She received her GED through Stephen Heneger to be an example to her grandson.  She worked at K-Mart for 26 years as the sports and automotive manager and ran a ceramic shop in Rigby and taught others how to make dolls.  She married David L. Holmberg on December 15, 1973 in LaBelle, Idaho.  Debra loved to go camping, reading, crocheting, arts & crafts, telling stories of growing up, and her family.  She enjoyed gardening and watching things grow.

Debra is survived by her family Dave Holmberg of Rigby, Eric (Mary Elizabeth) Holmberg of Idaho Falls, Justin (Kristi Olsen) Holmberg of Rigby, one grandson Kaden Holmberg and her brothers, Ron Carpenter of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Lance Carpenter of Denver, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Carpenter.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
