Delainee Marie Pond, was born in Salt Lake City, UT on January 10, 2013. She passed away at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT on February 16, 2020 due to complications from her 6th heart surgery.
Lainee was a warrior with an infinite capacity to love. She enjoyed reading, writing, drawing, dancing, coloring, cooking, singing, learning about the galaxy, making unpublished YouTube videos, going to the salon with her mom, and teaching her dad new tricks. She totally loved Halloween, but hated being scared. She loved the Frozen movies, cats, music, triceratops, Pokémon, and mermaids. She had a new found interest for rainbows, stars, and anything in the sky, space, and universe. She will forever be loved!
She is the daughter of Tanner Ronald Pond and Whitney Nicole Davis Pond.
She is preceded in death by her grandpa Ronald George Pond II and her uncle Ronald George Pond III.
She is survived by her parents, her 5 year old brother, Silas Tanner Pond, her 2 year old sister, Madison Rose Pond; Great Grandma Shirley O'Don Gilligan Bent; grandparents: Laurette Bent Pond Dalton and William James "Jim" Dalton, Dwayne Leroy "Roy" Davis and Lanae Davis, and Megan Allen; aunts and uncles: Andrew and Carrie Davis, Jonathan Davis and Michael Noragon, A.J. and Kristie Watson, Ty and Jenn Watson, James and Megan Davis, Emily Pond, Natalie and Omar Zamora, Doug and Hilary Cherry, Garrett and Amanda Pond, and Kellan and Brandi Pond; her dog, Spartacus; her best friend, Teddy; and more cousins than can be mentioned.
Services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Milo Ward Building, 12127 N. 75 th E. Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401. Casket signing from 10 - 11 am, graveside service at 11:15 a.m. at the Milo Cemetery 8020 E. 129 th N. Idaho Falls, ID 83401. Followed by the celebration of life luncheon from 12 to 4 pm.
