Delbert Fred Jensen

Delbert Fred Jensen, 54 of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020.

Delbert was born May 30, 1966 in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey to Fred and Margie Jensen.  He graduated from South Fremont High School in 1984.  On November 29, 1990 he married April Anderson.  They were blessed with 3 children; Brandee, Dalin and Bailee.  He worked as a truck driver for Valley Agronomics.

Delbert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He earned the Eagle Scout Award through The Boy Scouts of America.  He participated in Wrestling, Football, and Baseball while attending school in St. Anthony; and in Debate while attending South Fremont High School, a subject he carried on throughout his life.  Delbert was an outdoors-man; hunting fishing and camping were among his favorites.  Above all he loved his family and adored his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, April Jensen of Rexburg; daughter, Brandee (Eric) Holdren, of Rexburg, son, Dalin (Katelynn) Jensen of Rigby, daughter, Bailee (Braxton) Jensen of Rigby, parents, Fred and Margie Jensen of St. Anthony, sister, Heidi Jensen of Victor, brothers, Sharman (Stacey) Jensen and Kendon (Lisa) Jensen both of Rexburg, and Kelly (Kaya) Jensen of Colorado Springs, Colorado; as well as his 3 grandchildren, Berklee, Dalynn and Valerie.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bucklyn (Loryan) Jensen.

His family will hold a private family service where he will be laid to rest at the Mountain View Cemetery in Leadore, Idaho.
