Delbert Charles Tuckett

Delbert Charles Tuckett, 67, of Rexburg, died September 5, 2018 at his home.

Delbert was born July 18, 1951 in Dillon, Montana a son of Otto Leroy Tuckett and Lola Marie Fisher Tuckett. He was raised in Hibbard and attended school in Hibbard, Burton, Madison Jr. High and graduated from Madison High School.  He continued his education at Ricks College and then he went to Wisconsin for drafting school.

Delbert worked at Sun Glo and Dickerson’s in Sugar City for over 40 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He enjoyed movies, family, coffee, and John Wayne.

Delbert is survived by sisters Deanna (Robert) Pierce of Battleground, WA, LaWanna (Dennis) Marsh of St. Anthony, Marilyn Miller of Jerome, Phyllis (Dave) Furniss, of Rexburg, Mary Rydolch of Idaho Falls, brothers, Alma Dean (Marie) Tuckett of Chester, Mark Allen Tuckett of Rexburg, Nyle Otto (Cynthia) Tuckett of Idaho Falls, Van Eugene (Sandy) Tuckett of Rexburg.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, and two nieces Amy Furniss and Linda Marie Clay.

Memorial services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, October 12, 2018 at Rexburg South Stake Center.  Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
