Della "Grace" Hansen 86, of Rigby, Idaho died Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at the Rexburg Nursing Center in Rexburg, Idaho.
Grace was born March 9, 1916 at Shelley, Idaho the daughter of Nelson Earl Arave and Della Grace Hampton Arave. She attended schools in Taylor, Idaho. She married Wayne Clifton Hansen on September 1, 1932 in the Logan LDS Temple in Logan, Utah. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1996. In January 1997 she married Wilford Hammon in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She worked for several seasons in West Yellowstone for Hamilton Stores. With her husband Wayne she served as a patron in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She also served for many years in the Relief Society. She was known for the quilts and dolls that she made and gave away. She wrote many poems and was a great cook.
She is survived by Wilford Hammon of Menan, Idaho. Her son Dr. Russell Wayne (Holly) Hansen of Rigby, Idaho. A daughter Arlene Dalton of Portland, Oregon. A sister, Nelda Siler of Lewisville, Idaho and a brother, Carol Arave of Basalt, Idaho. Four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 24, 2002 in the Shelley Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Kris H. Wright officiating. The family will meet friends at Eckersell Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 24, 2002 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Shelley Cemetery.
