Delmar Freeman Tinker, age 67, of Lewisville, Idaho died Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at the
EIRMC in Idaho Falls.
Delmar was born May 7, 1935 at Aberdeen, Idaho the son of Cecil Verdell Tinker and Hazel
Dean Phillips Tinker. He was raised and educated in Hailey, Idaho. Delmar married Nola May
Meikle on August 5, 1956 in Ely, Nevada, their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls
L.D.S. Temple. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Delmar
worked for the Idaho Department of Transportation for 33 years as a mechanic and shop
foreman. He had lived in Lewisville for 35 years. Delmar enjoyed fishing, camping, going south
in the winter. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Delmar was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at the Lewisville 2nd Ward Chapel on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at
11:00 a.m. with Bishop Randy Madsen officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday,
August 30, 2002, at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel from 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. and prior to the
services at the church from 9:30 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow the services at the Annis
Little Butte Cemetery.
