Dennis Bradley Gallagher, age 71, Joplin, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at his home after an illness.
Dennis was born May 26, 1942, in Ophir, Utah to the late Reulon Reno Gallagher and Arline West Gallagher and had lived in Joplin since 1988. He worked as a cutting room manager in the apparel industry and was associated with Pykettes Manufacturing for 25 years and King Louie International for 16 years. Dennis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He married Glenna Poole on March 24, 1984, in Menan, Idaho. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include his children, Kira Gunter and her husband, Dave, West Valley, Utah, Shauna Brems, West Valley, Utah, Jason Gallagher, Murray, Utah, Melissa Harris and her husband, Michael, Clovis, N.M., Shane Gallagher and his wife, Alisha, Nanjing, China; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held in Joplin, Missouri, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Dan Belnap officiating.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby Idaho with burial to follow at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the General Missionary Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
