Diane Bezold

Diane Bezold (Hodges, Stoltenberg), 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on October 19, 1952, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Duane and Zenda (Harrison) Lords.

Diane grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Diane loved to crochet, horseback ride, and dance, travel, and sing.

Diane was married to DeWayne Bezold later divorced. She later married Darren Hodges later divorced, and married Rod Stoltenberg later divorced.

She is survived by her daughter DeAnna (Darwin) Smout; her sister Kay (John) Haley of West Valley Utah, brothers Allen (Chris) Lords and Mark (Tammy) Lords of Idaho Falls; and her grandchildren Kylie Prestwich, Cody (Laura) Smout, and Wrandie (Payden) Burrow, and six great grandchildren; Shardaney, Addison, Brinley, Brexten, Ryland, Chloe.

She was preceded in death by her son Deven (Hodges) Bezold, her parents, her great granddaughter Allison Macey Smout, and her brother-in-law John Haley from West Valley Utah.

Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diane’s Graveside service will be held, Thursday, July 3, 2025 in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, the family will meet with friends at Eckersell Funeral Home from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to going to the graveside service.
