Diane C. Christensen, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, at her home in Rigby, Idaho, surrounded by family.

Diane was born on February 26, 1948, in Bismark, North Dakota, to Edward Oscar Fode and Christine Jahner Fode. She attended Anaconda Junior High School and later earned her GED. In 1984, she moved to Rigby, Idaho, where she made her home for many years.

Diane was a hardworking woman throughout her life. Her employment included work at the Anaconda Copper Mine, Hearthstone Senior Living Center in Anaconda, Maverik, Rigby Country Living, and various other jobs.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Diane enjoyed playing pinochle, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved horses. She also enjoyed walking her dogs and visiting with neighbors and friends. She was known by her friends and family as full of spunk with lots of spice.

Diane is survived by her children: Tammy Bodak (Kurt) Hendricks, Rigby, Idaho, Rose Bodak Zundel, of Rigby, Idaho, Steve Bodak Jr. (Tisha) of Cypress, Texas.

She is also survived by her sisters, Judy Wheeler and Jean Boucher; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her spouse Scott Christensen; her previous spouse Steve Bodak Sr.; her parents, Ed and Christine Fode; her brother Ed Fode Jr.; her sister Tena Halzendorf; her granddaughter Bailee Gomez; and her great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Diane will be remembered for her love of family, her faith, and the warmth she shared with all who knew her.
