Diane Lynn Chavez Collier, 47, of Menan, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at her home.
She was born September 30, 1961, in Rexburg, ID to Griffth Van Noy Roberts, and
El Dora Joyce Lee Roberts. She was raised and attended schools in Menan, she received her high school diploma in Brigham City, Utah. She attended I-Tech in Idaho Falls, studying nursing. She was employed at the Menan Co-op on Main Street as the Supervisor. On August 2, 2008, she married John Kirk Collier, in Menan.
Diane enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the outdoors, and spending time with her husband and family.
She is survived by her husband John K. Collier, of Menan, daughter, Billie Jo (Eddie Jr.) Roberts, of Menan, sons, Derrick Lee (Nikki) Roberts, of Roberts, Gregory Alan Chavez, Daniel James Roberts, both of Menan, Mother, Joyce Roberts, of Menan, sisters, Terry (Brady) White, of Menan, Vicky (Jose) Leal, of Lewisville, Betty (Don) Berg, of Port Orchard, WA, Marie Huberner, of Nampa, Tracie (Clint) Reagle, of Rigby, brothers, Griff Roberts Jr., David (Diane) Roberts, both of Menan, George (Char) Roberts, of Tremonton, UT, Larry (Cathy) Roberts, of Eunice, NM and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Griffth Roberts Sr. and a sister Peggy Austin.
A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2009, at the home of Vaunda Gahart, 634A N. 3565 E., Menan, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
