Diane Kay Avery Siddoway, 78, of Idaho Falls passed away in her home in the company of her family on Saturday July 8 ,2017. Diane was born on October 4, 1938 to Cle Avery and Edna Mae Palmer. She grew up and attended schools in St. Anthony and graduated from South Fremont High School. After high school she attended college at Ricks College where she earned an Associate Degree. Diane married the love of her life, Ralph Wayne Siddoway, on November 6, 1959 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served 3 missions with her husband. They served in the Samoa Apia Temple. The second mission was in Rochester, New York. The third was at the Church Employment Center in Rexburg, Idaho. Diane enjoyed working on puzzles and watching her children and grandchildren participate in sporting activities. She was an avid knitter. She loved to make afghans and blankets for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved to fish, hunt, and camp with her family. She is survived by her husband Wayne, daughters; Cindy (Rodd) Erikson of Rexburg, Nichole (Cameron) Stanford of Sugar City, sons; Duane (Alicia) Siddoway of Rexburg, Trent (Jodi) Siddoway of Rexburg, Randy Siddoway of Boise, and Dax (Melissa) Siddoway of Idaho Falls, a sister, Virginia (Doug) Henninger of Middleton, a brother, Larry (Ruth) Avery of Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Diane was preceded by her parents Cle and Edna Avery, a sister Shirley, grandson, Duane Siddoway, and great granddaughter, Preslee Sullenger. Services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Lincoln LDS Church building, 3700 East Lincoln Rd. Idaho Falls, ID 83401. The service will start at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45am. Interment will be at the Sutton Cemetery. The family would like thank Dr. Brad Erikson and his staff as well as the staff at Teton Health Care and Hospice.
