Diego R. Ramirez

Diego Ramirez, 66, of Roberts, Idaho passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Idaho Falls at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Diego was born November 13, 1955 in Romita, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Aucencio Ramirez Bocanegra and Juana Ramirez Viera. He moved to the United States of America and started working. While in Montana, he played a horseman as an extra for the show Lonesome Dove. He moved to Idaho and worked for Idahoan Foods in Lewisville until his retirement after 27 years.

Diego married Elizabeth Ventura on November 19, 2018 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  He was a hard worker who loved gardening and taking care of his home. He enjoyed working and being outside. He would often go for long walks just to be out. Most recently he became bored with being retired so he went back to work where he worked alongside of his wife, Elizabeth at Elevation Labs.

Diego is survived by his wife Elizabeth and four children.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Juana and Aucencio Ramirez, two brothers and a sister.

Diego was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish (659 N. 2872 E. Roberts, ID 83444); services will be held Monday, November 22, 2021.  A visitation has been scheduled for 9:30 to 10:30 am with a Rosary starting at 10:30 am. Mass will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Market Lake Cemetery, also in Roberts.

Diego Nació el 13 de Noviembre, 1955 en Romita Guanajuato, México, hijo de Aucencio Ramirez Bocanegra y Juana Ramirez Viera. Emigro a los Estados Unidos de América y comenzó a trabajar.

Mientras vivía en Montana, el fue un vaquero extra en la película Lonesome Dove. Se mudo a Idaho y trabajo para Idahoan Foods en Lewisville hasta que se retiró después de 27 años.

Diego se caso con Elizabeth Ventura el 19 de noviembre, 2018 en Idaho Falls, Idaho. El trabajaba muy duro y le encantaba la jardinería y cuidar su hogar. El disfrutaba trabajar afuera y pasar tiempo al aire libre. Seguido disfrutaba salir a caminar simplemente para pasar tiempo al aire libre. Recientemente el se aburrió un poco de estar retirado en casa i volvió a trabajar junto con su querida esposa Elizabeth en Elevation Labs.

Diego es sobrevivido por su esposa Elizabeth y cuatro hijos. Es precedido en muerto por sus padres, Juana y Aucencio Ramirez, dos hermanos y una hermana.

Diego era miembro de la Parroquia San Antonio de Roberts, Idaho. Una Visitacion con la familia se ha agendado para el Lunes, 22 de Noviembre 2021 de 9:30 a 10:30 am. Un rosario comenzara a las 10:30 am. La misa comenzara a las 11:00 am (659 N. 2872 E. Roberts, ID 83444) El entierro será en el Market Lake Cemetery en Roberts, Idaho
