Dirk Victor Lee, age 50, of Rigby, died at his home from heart failure November 18, 2009.
Dirk was born February 11, 1959 at Idaho Falls to Victor Lee and Martha Lou Grover Lee. He grew up in Milo graduating from Bonneville High School. He then attended Idaho Vocational Technical College in Idaho Falls to become a Auto Mechanic. He worked at Taylor Chevrolet in Rexburg for 26 years. He married Shauna Rock in Ririe, Idaho in 1978. They later divorced. He then married Tammy Curtis, June 29, 1984 at Rigby, Idaho. They later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed motorcycles, four wheeling, camping, outdoors, rebuilding and restoring cars and trucks and spending time with his grandchildren, especially Ashton his best buddy.
He is survived by two daughters: Tiffany Marie (Bob) Stedtfeld of Michigan & Whitney Blythe (Austin) Lee of Salt Lake City, Utah, one step daughter Christa Taylor (Josh Flitton) Ioannides of Idaho Falls and one step son, Corey Taylor of Idaho Falls, his mother Martha Lee of Milo, two sisters: Peggy (Douglas) Mallard of Idaho Falls, Vickie (Kelly) Howell of Milo, one brother Brett (Cheryl) Lee of Menan and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Victor Lee.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Milo Cemetery.
