Don W. Biorn

Don W. Biorn, 90, peacefully passed away at his home in Rigby, Idaho December 3, 2023.

Don was born Jul 10, 1933 to Annie Whittle Biorn and Wilford Clarance Biorn in Ashton, Idaho.

He honorably served our country in the United States Army.

Don married the love of his life, Shirley Janet Gardner, July 10, 1958 in Teton, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple July 23, 1993.

He was a truck driver most of his life most recently working with Super T Trucking in Idaho Falls. He has resided in Marysville ID, St. Anthony ID, El Cajon CA, Lakeside CA and settling down in Rigby ID.

Don was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

When Don wasn’t trucking, he loved to be out hunting and fishing. Shirley and Don loved to travel and spent a lot of time traveling in their later years. Don really enjoyed playing cards with his family.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Wilford Clarance and Annie Whittle Biorn; daughter Mitzy Biorn; brothers Alton Gene Biorn, Robert Dean Biorn and Wilford Andrew Biorn; and sisters Naomi Biorn Rogers.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Rigby; son Randy (Lori) Biorn of Spring Valley, CA; daughter Becky (Michael) Tehan of Jamul, CA; sisters Joyce Ann Glenn of Idaho Falls, ID, Kathleen C Mattson of Montrose CO, Ina Bowles of Hyrum UT and Mary Susan Binggeli of Garland UT; grandchildren: Corey Turner, Travis Biorn, Jennie Turner, Michael Tehan Jr., Madie Spencer, Stephanie Tillung, Cory Tehan, Katie Tehan, and three great-grandchildren.
