Don Howard Cutler, 72, of Rigby, died Monday, October 24, 2011. He was born April 12, 1939, in Rigby, Idaho to Raymond Cutler and Thelma Bowles cutler. He was raised and attended schools in Rigby. He married Eileene Frank November 13, 1957; to this union they added a daughter and 2 sons. Don worked for U & I Sugar Factory at Lincoln, Johnston Pump Co. in Idaho Falls, and he owned and operated Don’s Harness Shop in Rigby for 30 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed horses and was a member of the Jefferson County Sherriff’s posse for 20 years. He enjoyed leather working, collecting antiques, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Dixie Gardner, of Winthrop, WA, Tony (Rose) Cutler, of Olympia, WA, Bill (Paula) Cutler, of Rigby, and a sister, Yvonne, (Charles) Bran, of Ellsworth, ME, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister Leona (JD) Bloom and a brother, Robert Cutler. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 Friday evening and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., Saturday, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
