Don Steven Tibbitts

Don Steven Tibbitts, 63 of Kaneohe, Hawaii died Thursday, April 28, 2016 of a heart attack. Don was born April 13, 1953 to Jim and JoAnn Tibbitts. He attended Rigby schools and one year at Ricks College. While at Ricks College he met and married Sherry Bell of Rexburg. They had two children; Carrie and Steven Tibbitts. Don and Sherry were later divorced. Sherry and children moved to Juno, Alaska where they still live. A few years later Don moved to Hawaii where Jimmy was working. He worked in construction for a few years, then started his own Trucking Company. He kept his trucks spotless with eight dump trucks plus equipment. This last winter he married Sunyong Yoon. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Jimmy. Don is survived by his wife Yoon and children Steven and Carrie Tibbitts, also his parents Jim and JoAnn Tibbitts and brothers, Bruce, Roger and Jeff Tibbitts and a sister Jana Tibbitts. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID. The family will visit with friends on Saturday Morning at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow services at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
