Donald James Hill

James Donald Hill was reunited with the love of his life September 13, 2016. Don was born on June 11, 1935 in St. Anthony to John Dean Hill and Le Anna Fisher Hill. He joined brother, Glendon and sisters, Beverly and Carma, De Anna, his baby sister, came along later. James attended schools in St. Anthony then joined the National Guard following high school graduation. James mainly frolicked in the streams, mountains, rivers, lakes, sand, and tall grasses of Fremont County all of his life. Don had a special love of Eagles, and his favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. James caught the eye of a beautiful spitfire named Sharon Elizabeth Guipre and they were married July 18, 1958 in Driggs, Idaho. Their family began with the birth of Kevin Dean in 1960 and Trudie Ann in 1966. Don and Sharon danced, camped, hunted, fished, played cards, drank coffee, golfed, played pool, loved and fought for 42 years until Sharon was called home in 2010. Don missed her terribly and could not wait to join her. Don is survived by son Kevin, daughter Trudie, seven Grandchildren, and 26 Great Grandchildren, and one sister Carma Taylor. A Celebration of Don’s life will be held at the family home (1007 West 2nd South, St. Anthony) on September 24th, 1:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
