Donald Lee Holmes

Donald Lee Homes, 80 of Egin, Idaho passed away at his home Sunday, August 5, 2018.

Donald was born February 14, 1938 in Dubois, Idaho a son to Howard and Ella Colson Holmes. He attended Dubois Schools graduating from Clark County High School in Dubois.  He married Jolene McRae November 17, 1973 in Burton, Idaho.  He worked for Clark and Fremont Counties road and bridge until retirement.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming.  He was a member of the Baptist church and the Dubois Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife Jolene of Egin, and a brother Royce Holmes of Idaho Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Willard, Glen and Gerald.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends on Monday for one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Burton Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com.
