Donalue Hebdon Hart, age 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away, Wednesday, December 23, 2015.
Donalue was born October 27, 1925, in Rigby, Idaho, to Truman R. Hebdon and Mary Louise Butterworth Hebdon. She attended schools in Rigby graduating from Rigby High School.
She married Jack Allen Hart, November 30, 1943 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.
Donalue is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and with her husband served as Dance Directors for 12 years in the Stake and Region. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Chansonettes singing group for many years. She taught Title One reading at Falls Valley, Fairview, Tiebreaker and Iona Elementary, retiring from District 93 in 1995 after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Republican Women. At the age of 77, she was called to the Houston Texas South mission for 12 months. Donalue served as a Temple Officiator in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for 13 years.
Survivors include her daughters: Lauri (Jerry) Withers, Melanie (Brent) Belnap and Meridee (David) Elggren, 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 7 great- great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Allen Hart, a son, Jack Michael Hart, 2 brothers, 4 sisters and one grandson, Kris.
The family expresses appreciation to Encompass Home Health and Hospice and the caregivers at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living Community for the loving care they gave Donalue.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sunnyside LDS Church (4375 East Sunnyside Road, Idaho). The family will visit with friends at the LDS Church located on 4375 East Sunnyside Road: Tuesday, December 29th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
