Donna Louise Bates

Donna Louise Bates, age 77, passed away at her home in St. Anthony, Thursday, August 10, 2017. Donna was born in Seattle, Washington February 21, 1940 a daughter to Donald McMillan and Constance Hulls McMillan. She was raised and attended schools in Seattle, Washington.   She married Larry Dee Bates November 2, 1959 in Seattle. She enjoyed watching T.V., crocheting, sewing, reading books, camping and the outdoors. She was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by her husband Larry Bates of St. Anthony, two daughters: Dixie Jo (Robert) Blea of Anchorage, Alaska and Jodie Marie McKay of Mesa, Arizona, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery, St. Anthony, Idaho, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
