Donna DeRoche Johnson, age 90 of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at The Hospice Home in Ammon Idaho.
Donna was born September 10, 1925 in Cascade, Montana to Leo DeRoche and Gladys Kinghorn. Donna grew up and attended schools in Clark and Rigby Idaho. She graduated from Rigby High School where she was active in the Pep Club.
Donna was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She worked for U&I Sugar in Lincoln. She also worked for school district 91 and 93 as a custodian, she retired from school district 93. She also worked on the family farm.
Donna enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, fishing, camping, basketball and Nascar.
Donna is survived by her daughters LaRae (Dave) Blosch of Rigby, DeAnn (Rod) Rosenkrance of Iona, her sons Ron (Sue) Johnson or Idaho Falls, Carl Johnson of Idaho Falls, and Gary Johnson of Pahrump, Nevada. Sisters Ilene Mumford of Idaho Falls and Leah Brosie of Idaho Falls.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Gilbert Lyle “Pike” Johnson, her parents, two sisters and five brothers
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 14, 2015, at 11:00 am at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. The Family will be visiting with friends on Wednesday from 9:00 – 10:45am prior to the service. There will be a viewing Tuesday October 13, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
