Donna Scroggins, age 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away at home, Friday, September 29, 2017. Donna was born June 17, 1925 a daughter of Jess Goss and Dess Conner Goss. She graduated high school in Oklahoma. She joined the Canadian Army in 1943 in Toronto, Canada. On March 31, 1945 she married Ray Scroggins. Together they joined the Peace Corps and were stationed in Equador. She worked in children’s hospitals and in the jungle. She worked in numerous jobs throughout her life: as a Safeway Clerk; in nursing; office management; and as a computer supervisor for Federal Inspection service. She was a member of the Lions Club and Eastern Star. She was very active in Christian churches where ever they lived. She sang in choirs, taught Sunday school classes and ladies bible studies. She loved people and always worked for the betterment of all wherever she lived. She was presented the Home Town Hero award in October of 2015. She was very humbled and proud of the award. She lived her life as an example of what a Christian should be. She is survived by: two daughters, LaRay Scroggins of Ririe and Linda Scroggins McNeel of Alpine, Wyoming, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Jess and Dess Goss, her husband Ray Scroggins, three sisters: Vivian Richard, Fay Fenwick and Betty J Owens and three brothers, Eldridge Goss, Fred Goss and Jimmy Dale Goss and a great grandson Nathan K.
