Donovan Lynn Bramwell

Donovan Lynn Bramwell, 59, of Lewisville, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. He was born July 15, 1953 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Keith B. Bramwell and Marie C. Watts Bramwell. He was raised and attended schools in Lewisville and Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School. He continued his education at Ricks College, graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, and did post graduate work at Idaho State University. On July 3, 1975, he married Linda Lee in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple; they were married for 26 years and were blessed with 2 daughters and 5 sons. They later divorced. Donovan was a longtime chairman of the Idaho State Libertarian Party. He enjoyed fishing, reading, writing, and music.Above all he loved his children. He is survived by his mother, Marie C. Bramwell, of Lewisville, former wife, Linda Lee Bramwell, of Grant, children, Erika (Deane) Mathewsen, of Seattle, Washington, Jessica Lee Bramwell, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Christian M. Bramwell, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Brian R. (Tracy) Bramwell, of Twin Falls, Idaho, Jordan D. (Brianna Wing) Bramwell, of Birch Bay, Washington, Isaac D. (Angel) Bramwell, of Kamiah, Idaho, Alex D. (Sonya) Bramwell, of Moscow, Idaho, sisters, Lorraine (Delwin) Lehmburg, of Lewisville, Marjorie D. Kannarr, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, brothers, Kliff A. (Beverly) Bramwell, of Lewisville, Idaho, Keith A. (Cindy) Bramwell, of Dubois, Idaho, twin David L. Bramwell, of Ammon, and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Keith B. Bramwell. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
