Doris Mae Holimon

Doris Mae Holimon, 83 of Rigby, Idaho died Friday, March 18, 2005 at the hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Doris was born June 12, 1921 in Marseilles, Illinois, the daughter of Noah Lee Gaddis and Stella Mae Daniels Gaddis. She graduated from the Marseilles High School where she participated in band playing the saxophone. She married Francis Don Holimon on April 16, 1943 in Clarksdale, Mississippi and was a member of the Church of God for fifty-eight years She was a Sunday School Teacher, teaching the adults for fifty-three years and was a member of the Missionary Society. She had worked as a secretary for the Gaddis Insurance Company. She loved to go shopping, camping, being with her son and grandchildren and everything she did was with the church. Doris is survived by her husband Francis Holimon, of Rigby, Idaho and a son Don Gaddis Holimon of Orofino, Idaho. Three grandchildren, Matthew Don Holimon of Shelley, Idaho, Beth Elaine Horkley of Rigby, Idaho and Andrew Lee Holimon of LaVergne, Tennessee. Two great grandchildren, Stephanie Y. Pritchard of Rigby, Idaho and Dustin Cole Horkley of Rigby, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Lucille Eldervog and Shirley Johnson. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home.
