Doris Ann Raymond, 91, of Idaho Falls, died at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls, Monday, October 9, 2006. Doris was born May 28, 1915 at Rudy (Ririe) Idaho, a daughter to Andrew Josias Young and Priscilla Jane Weaverling Young. She attended Ririe schools. On June 5, 1934 she married John Pearis Raymond, in Rigby. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple June 11, 1976. They lived in Rigby, Ririe, Ammon and Idaho Falls. She worked at Rocks Café in Idaho Falls for several years and for School District 93 in Lincoln and Ammon Schools as a custodian for 10 years. She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a visiting teacher and in the relief society. She enjoyed embroidering, crafts, homemaking, bowling, flower gardening, fishing, picnicking, family reunions and being with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter Eleanor May (Richard) Wiemer of Idaho Falls, 2 sisters Mona (Ray) Coles of Pocatello, Idaho, Evelyn Berry of Fountain, Colorado, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 7 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 12, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
