Dorothy Louise Lora

Dorothy Louise Lora, 56 of LaBelle, Idaho, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Dorothy was born August 12, 1960 in Hartford, Wisconsin to John Casper Disch and Betty Jane Bielvaum Disch. On June 1, 1989, she married Honorio Montoya Lora in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were blessed with 3 children; Jennifer, Adrian, and Isaiah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple August 13, 1994. Dorothy was a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she served as compassionate service leader in her ward, a calling she truly loved. Dorothy was always giving selfless service to others, she made friends wherever she went and greeted everyone with a smile. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening and loved her flowers. She was excellent at cooking and baking and enjoyed sharing the things she made. Above all, she loved her family, they were of the upmost importance to her. Her kindness and tender compassion was evidence as she cared for her ailing mother over 9 years. Throughout her life, Dorothy truly emulated Christ like love; she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Honorie Lora of LaBelle, Daughters, Jennifer (Nick) Brumaghim of Washington, Adrian Sara Lora of LaBelle, son, Isaiah Lora, of LaBelle, mother, Betty Disch, of LaBelle, sisters, Judy (Willie) Berthelsen, of Milwaukie, Wisconsin, Joann (Dave) Poirier of Milwaukie, Wisconsin, Sally (Greg) Jensen, of Hartford, Wisconsin, brothers, John (Victoria) Disch, of Beaverdam, Wisconsin, Ron Disch, of Washington, Robert Disch, of Westbend Wisconsin, David Disch, of Hartford, Wisconsin, and 1 grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the LaBelle LDS Church (4223 E. 528 N. Rigby) The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:45 p.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
