Dorothy Rae Nelson

Dorothy Rae Nelson, age 89 of Ammon died December 25, 2007 at Idaho Falls Health and Rehab. She was born March 6, 1918 at Teton City, a daughter of Ray Haws and Mary Olive Dodson Haws. Dorothy attended schools in Newdale and Sugar City. December 9, 1947 she married C. Scott Nelson in Newdale, Idaho. She managed Bair's Restaurant in Idaho Falls and owned a Mink Ranch in Menan. Dorothy was a member of the L.D.S. Church. She is survived by her two sisters; Georgia Haws of Idaho Falls, and Irene (Edward) Ross of Ephrata, WA, two brothers; Alan (Aleeta) Haws of Idaho Falls, and Rayman (Jane) Haws of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband C. Scott Nelson. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Ashton Cemetery.
