Dorothy Mae Walton, age 62, died Friday, July 30, 2010, at her home in Rigby.
Dorothy was born August 14, 1947, at St. Anthony, Idaho a daughter to Frank Abraham and Berthena Clements Woolsey. She attended schools in Rigby. She married Arthur Lake, he preceded her in death. She then married Ken Struhs, he preceded her in death. In 1983, she married Melvin Walton, they later divorced. She worked as a waitress and bartender at Nancy Anns, Silver Horseshoe, Bears Café, and most recently at Arctic Circle. She also worked at Idaho Fresh Pak and Roger Brothers Potatoes. She belonged to the Salvation Army Home League.
She enjoyed going camping, being outside, dancing and taking her kids horse riding and on pack trips.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherrie (Jeff) Radford of Rigby, Barbara Kuzmich of Rigby, three sons, Kenny Struhs of Rigby, Johnathen (Michelle) Struhs of Menan, Jeffery Struhs of Idaho Falls, two sisters Freda (Lorraine) Pierce of Rigby, Virginia (Harold) McCormick of Ashton, two brothers, Jim Woolsey of Rigby, Ruben Woolsey of Rigby, 18 grandchildren and 10 great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel 101 West Main, Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
