Doyle Kenneth Terry

October 22, 1932 — January 11, 2023

Born and raised in Dustin, Oklahoma. Doyle was not only the youngest child among six sisters, but he was also the only boy to Benjamin Harrison and Kizzy Terry.

He and his family moved west from Dustin in the early 50s to Ventura, CA, where he later met and married his wife, Maryan. Prior to their divorce after twenty years of marriage, they had three boys, who are now grown men with wives, children, and grandchildren of their own.

Through the years, Doyle learned many trades, which brought him to where he made his career in the Citrus industry at Saticoy Lemon Association. He was a hard-working, loyal employee for over 30 years as a machine foreman where he retired in the early 2000s.

In 2019, he sold his home in Ventura to move to the Northwest. At that time, he divided his residency between the states of Oregon and Eastern Idaho.

In July of 2022, he made his permanent residence with his middle son Sid and his wife, Victoria, in Idaho Falls, where he passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 90.

He was a man who filled many lives with an abundance of love and treasured memories.

He was far from perfect in this imperfect world, yet he was the perfect example of a man who sought each day after God's heart.

He was a godly man who filled each life he touched, with special memories and a kind of love that made you feel special in every way.

He lived a simple, humble life, filled with laughter, silly jokes, integrity, honor, and an overwhelming abundance of love for those around him.

Although he left this earth after 90 years for his place in heaven, he leaves a memory specially made for all who knew and loved him.

His legacy will live on through the memories we hold on to so tightly.

His memory will not be forgotten as we, his children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren continue living the godly principles he instilled in each of us. That is; to love fully without judgment or prejudice, to give of ourselves freely without attachments, and to live a simple, humble life all within the parameters of God's word.

We, the family of Doyle Kenneth Terry, wish to celebrate him by Thanking all who were a part of his life and Legacy,

We thought of you today, but that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday, and days before that too.
We think of you in silence, we often speak your name.
All we have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake from which we'll never part.
God has you in His arms, we have you in our hearts.
In Loving Memory of our dad, grandpa, 2gpa, brother, uncle, and friend.
