EARL “PETE” BRADY, age 81, of Rigby, died August 4, 2003, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Earl was born July 12, 1922 in Poplar, Idaho, the son of Jordan Perry Brady, and Sarah Christensen Brady. Earl grew up and attended schools in Rigby. He graduated from Rigby High School. He married Velma Scott, June 16, 1946 in Labelle, Idaho, this marriage was solemnized, August 12, 1989, in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. She preceded him in death, March 16, 1996. He later married Marjorie Palmer Treasure, November 1, 1997 in Rigby, Idaho. Earl served in the United States Army with the 116th Engineer Battalion during WWII in the South Pacific, from 1941 -1945, as a truck driver. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1004 in Rigby. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, were he served as a High Priest and a Home Teacher. Earl was professional bus driver for 47 years. He lived in Pocatello, and drove for the Greyhound Bus Company. He moved to Rigby and drove bus for the I N E E L until his retirement in 1986. In his early years he drove for Lewis Brothers Stage and Salmon River Stage. He loved the Upper Snake River Valley, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed playing cards, and traveling. He loved his family, and his boston terrier Buddy.

June (Jake) Crawford of Salt Lake City, Utah. Survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grand children. Preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Velma, three sisters, and one brother. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the Labelle 1st. Ward L.D.S. Chapel, 4229 East 528 North, Rigby, Idaho, with Bishop Richard Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, and Thursday 12:00 noon - 12:45 p.m. at the Labelle Chapel. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
