Eddy Ray Cook, 76, of Ucon, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Good Samaritan Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born August 14, 1937, in Idaho Falls, to George Cook and Mildred Dorothy Adamson Cook in Idaho Falls. He was raised in Mud Lake and Shelly. On December 22, 1960, he married Beverly Lou Glen in Blackfoot, Idaho. In 1974 they moved to Ucon. He worked as a welder for Bingham Mechanical for several years.
Eddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, and snow machine racing. In 1972 he won the Contractors Cross Country Snow Machine Race.
He is survived by his children, Sherry Melish, of Pennsylvania, Kelly Ray Cook, of Ucon, Robert (Jackie) Wardle, of Phoenix, Arizona, Greg Wardle, of Pennsylvania, sister, Barbara Cromwell, of Idaho Falls, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers, Alan Cook and Wall Cook.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
